Talk organised by the Friends of Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum as part of their Collections Unwrapped series.

This month's talk is by Museum Guide Michael Storm, and is entitled Artists of the Arts & Crafts Movement.  This talk will discuss a selection of artists, all with regional connections, most represented in the Gallery's collections, whose work in various ways reflects the values and attitudes of the Arts and Crafts Movement.

As a result of a successful bid for Heritage Lottery Funding for our proposed redevelopment, the Art Gallery & Museum closed on 31 March 2011  We plan to re-open late 2012 / early 2013.

Cheltenham's art gallery and museum win £750k funding bid for redevelopment scheme

Galleries close to public on 1 April 2011

A funding bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for £750k to redevelop Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum has been successful. This positive news means that the redevelopment scheme can now move forward to the next stage.
